Well, it has been a long and fulfilling life and to continue further is just going to be better. I left Lewiston High School in 1979 at the end of my Junior year, not happy but well worth it. My parents and I moved to a small town called Harrison, ME where I finished high school at Oxford Hills in South Paris. This is where I met Cheryl. The big event every day was the bus ride to School, about 45 minutes one way to school each day on good ole bus 35. It was good since I had company each day, my girl Cheryl. A few days after graduation (June 17, 1980) I left for the NAVY Boot-camp in Great Lakes, IL. What an eye opening experience it was for a kid that never left the state of Maine before. It turned out to be a great experience, my first duty station was about the hardest only because not one person could understand me because of my Maine Accent. Hmm... go figure I understood everything I said, must be their ears were broken. That changed quickly, I dropped the accent while in Florida. After, about 3 years in Jacksonville I met one of the greatest people alive, my first wife, too bad we were just a little to young to understand, the feeling we had for each other and how to control them. We eventually went our own ways to other lives but hey it was great while it lasted. After being transferred back to where it all started, Maine, I remarried a wonderful person, Paula with two awesome kids, Jeremy and Alisha.
